Spring Gardening

At the moment it is Room 14's turn to look after the school edible garden. Each Thursday four groups rotate around to help Leonora with gardening. First we needed to dig out the weeds. Then we planted some onion, red and green lettuce, carrot, potatoes, beetroot and basil. These plants won't be ready till after the summer holidays, but we will be able to use them for cooking and eating next year.

I liked all the time we spend in the garden with Leonora. The garden is a colourful as a rainbow - Keira

I like watering the avocado tree - Charlotte

I am looking forward to eating the plants and baking with them next year. The garden looks so colourful. We are so lucky at Clifton Terrace to have an edible garden- Tiana

How to Put on your Uniform

MATERIALS:
1 x underwear
1 x socks
1 x CTS red t-shirt
1 x navy blue shorts
1 x shoes

INSTRUCTIONS

1. First get your blue and pink underwear and put one leg in one hole and do the same with the other leg. Then pull your underwear up to your waist.

2. Second, get your t-shirt and put it over your head then put your arms into the red sleeves.

3. Third, get your navy blue shorts and put one leg in the leg hole and do the same with the other leg. Then pull your pants up to your waist.

4. The get one of your white socks and find the hole in the sock and put your foot in. Do the same with the other foot too.

5. Finally get one of your black shoes and find the hole and put your foot in the hole. Tie your laces up if you need to.

Now you are ready to go to Clifton Terrace School

Fishing with Finn

We have a new fish finder on our boat. We have a new radio on the dash. Uncle Tim, Ben and me went fishing in the Marlborough Sounds. Ben caught a spotty. Me and Uncle Tim caught nothing. We used Ben's spotty as bait.

The Mask Parade

On the first Friday of Term 4 Clifton Terrace School were competing in the mask parade. There were millions of people!!! The theme was journeys so our school CTS went as godwits. CTS sang 'We are flying' also chanting some words in Maori. The leaders were Hayley W /Adam B/ Tom H /Aaron C from Room 14 .
